News on the Two Bridges legal ruling

“We are disappointed that the Court of Appeals has rejected our appeal attempt, even though our case was victorious in the lower court. However, the fight to stop the Two Bridges towers will not be won and lost in the court room. The City may be able to fool the court, but not the people. When we started organizing against these towers years ago, our Councilmember was already telling us that the towers were a done deal. Four years later, there’s not a single shovel in the ground. It’s important for residents and supporters of our No Towers, No Compromise campaign to know that this is still not a done deal, and our fight against displacement is far from over. The election is just a few weeks away, and we look forward to using a new administration to pass the full Chinatown Working Group Rezoning Plan to protect our communities from displacement for good.”
